Colour only VIP Business Party with special guest MP Mr Tony Abbot
The Event kicked off at 4pm on what was a cool afternoon though this didn't deter the 80+ guests that walked the red carpet into the "Colour Only Salon" situated in Pacific Point Arcade, Manly.
Local business owners and operators gathered and socialised whilst sipping on champagne and local beer (AKUNA) and local food supplied from Manly Gourmet Thai, Manly Pizza Place and Crystals Seafood Restaurant.
Special guest MP Tony Abbott arrived and socialised with guests and spoke on Small Business issues and assured the crowed if elected he will not be making it any harder on small businesses, as the crowd were pleased he then poised for many requested photos obviously a popular guest.
All guests left with a gift bag filled with gifts and vouchers from some of the businesses who took part of the event and facial vouchers from Belle Isle worth over $300.
Hosts of the event Samantha Sheppard and business partner Amanda Cunningham of Colour Only Salon hailed the event a success and plan for bigger and better in 2011.
These events are what many people in small businesses need, a networking opportunity to further their business.
Often I don’t have time 9-5 to meet local business owners so we felt hosting this event will be a positive influence to other small business. (Samantha)
